Desserts are my love language. The thing I bring to every potluck. The reason my kids have learned to check the cooling rack before they ask what is for dinner. Cakes, cookies, pies, brownies. Candy when the mood strikes. Cheesecake when I want to show off a little.

Every recipe here has been made more times than I can count, in my very normal kitchen, with ingredients you can find at any grocery store. No fussy techniques. No ten-step garnishes. Just desserts that taste like you spent all day on them when you really did not.
