Crispy Chicken Strip Salad

Making a salad using Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips is incredibly easy and takes not much time at all!  It’s perfect for creating a quick lunch on a busy weekday.  It also makes a great light lunch on the weekends!

Whenever I’m going grocery shopping and stop by Kroger, I pick up the Crispy Chicken Strips we love.  I also pick up the other ingredients that I need to make this salad complete.  These Chicken Strips pair perfectly with strawberries, oranges, and cheese!

New and Improved

Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips are new and approved making the chicken strips even crispier!  The seasonings have been approved as well!  They have a delicious flavor and the breading on the chicken gives each bite a nice crunch and the chicken is still tender and juicy on the inside.

These amazingly tasty all-white-meat Crispy Chicken Strips are 100% natural.  That means there are no artificial ingredients, no antibiotics, and the chicken is minimally processed. They’re also great to use to make these crispy chicken salad.

5 Ingredient Salad

With not many ingredients, it’s easy to put this salad together.  This recipe calls for romaine lettuce, spinach, strawberries, oranges, and chicken strips.

If you wish to garnish this crispy chicken salad, sprinkle it with feta cheese and drizzle it with your favorite salad dressing.  My favorite match for a strawberry and orange salad is an orange balsamic vinaigrette.

Make the Strawberry and Orange Crispy Chicken Salad

First thing first, the chicken needs to be cooked. Cook the Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips according to the directions on the back of the package.  I use 3 chicken strips per salad and I find it plenty filling!  It’s the perfect addition to this salad and gives the salad a deliciously crunchy and tasty flavor.

To make this salad, you will need to wash and dry your romaine lettuce and spinach.  After patting dry the lettuce and spinach, toss together and place into salad bowls.  Wash and slice the strawberries and oranges and add them to the salad.

Top the prepared salad bowls with the Crispy Chicken Strips and garnish with your desired amount of feta cheese.

Great for Packed Lunches

This salad makes a great packed lunch as well. It’s easy enough to prepare the salad and place it in kids’ lunches the next day.  This salad also tastes great in a flatbread or tortilla wrap.  The chicken can be packed separately from the other salad ingredients – the Crispy Chicken Strips are great to dip into your favorite dipping sauce!  The Crispy Chicken Strips also make an excellent source of protein – making these strips perfect for lunch!
