How to Pronouce Pasta e Fagiloli

Fagioli is pronounced differently depending on what part of the world you're in. In Naples, Italy, as an example, Fagioli is pronounced [faˈsuːl], and in America, it has been changed into the word "Fazool".

Just as in many word dialects, the words change over time and are interpreted differently depending on the language.

Not to worry, if you're from America, you can order a bowl of "Pasta Fazool" at Olive Garden without breaking a sweat and worrying if you've said the word correctly.
