Instant Pot Pulled Pork
Making pulled pork couldn't be easier than using a pressure cooker. It's as simple as making a dry rub out of cinnamon, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, and salt, then adding it to the pork.
Sliced onions are added to the bottom of the Instant Pot and then Root Beer (or another soda) is added as the liquid for pressurizing the pot. The chunks of pork are added on top, the lid is closed, and then the pork pressure cook for 45 minutes.
When cooking meat, it's important to allow the pot to naturally release pressure after it is done cooking. That way, the meat stays tender and the moisture isn't sucked out of the meet from preforming a quick release.
Shredding the pork is incredibly simple when using a hand mixer. It's very quick using this method and it's also a quick and easy way to add the BBQ sauce and to combine it well to the pork.
