How to Make Red Velvet Cream Cheese Frosting

Preheat the oven - Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Melt the unsalted butter either on the stovetop or in the microwave.

Combine the wet ingredients - In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.

Beat in the egg and egg yolk, vanilla extract, and red food coloring and mix until combined and smooth.
