PEANUT BUTTER

COOKIE BUTTER COOKIES

– creamy peanut butter – all-purpose flour – powdered sugar – baking powder – baking soda – vanilla extract – milk – M&M’s

INGREDIENTS

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line the cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Cream the peanut butter and sugar

Cream the creamy peanut butter together with the powdered sugar. It will be thick.

Combine the dry ingredients

In a separate bowl combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Make the Cookie Dough

Add 2 tablespoons of milk to the peanut butter mixture and add half of the flour mixture. Mix until combined. Repeat with the remaining flour and milk and combine until a soft cookie dough.  Stir in the candies.

Scoop the cookie dough

Scoop by one and half tablespoons or use a #40 cookie scoop and place them two inches apart on the cookie sheets. Flatten the cookies out slightly. Press additional M&M’s into the tops of the cookies.

Bake

Bake for 12-13 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on the cookie sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
