Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground sausage and remove from the skillet.
Dice the red and yellow peppers and saute them in the skillet for about 3 minutes.
Remove the peppers and add them to the sausage.
Add the heavy cream to the skillet and heat until simmering.
Add the cubed cheeses and the butter and mix to melt.
Cook and stir until creamy.
Pour the cheese sauce into the sausge and pasta mixture and stir well to combine.
Spread into an oven safe skillet and top with additional shredded cheese if desired.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
