Santa's Cookies
Santa's cookies are made with chocolate chips, M&M's, and jimmies. They're easy enough to make with the kids and perfect to set out for Santa on Christmas Eve night.

M&M's

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl combine shortening, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla and beat until combined.
Add in eggs, one at a time until incorporated.
Combine the salt, baking soda, and all-purpose flour together in a bowl.
Beat the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
Stir in chocolate chips, M&M's, and jimmies.
Scoop using a #40 cookie scoop (about 1.5 tablespoons) and place the cookie dough 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for about 9- 11 minutes (until bottoms are slightly browned).
Top with additional candies if desired hot out of the oven.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes and remove to the cooling rack to cool completely.
