Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line cookie sheets with silicone mats.
In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, and brown sugar together.
Add in the corn syrup and beat well.
Beat in the eggs and the vanilla extract.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, blending well.
Stir in the chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
Chill the cookie dough for 15-20 minutes.
Once the cookie dough is chilled, roll into 1 inch balls and place cookies 2 inches apart.
Return unused cookie dough to the refrigerator to keep cold until ready to bake.
Bake for about 10 minutes. The edges will be golden but the center will be a bit gooey.
After the cookies have cooled for at least 5 minutes, move to a wire rack for cookies to cool completely.
