– unsalted butter, softened – granulated sugar – vanilla extract – all-purpose flour – pecan chips – powdered sugar – salt

Preheat the oven

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F

Mix the wet ingredients

Beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.

Add the dry ingredients

Beat in the salt and the flour, careful not to overbeat.

Add the pecans

Stir in the pecan chips.

Scoop the cookie dough

Roll the dough into 1 inch balls.

Bake

Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet or a silicone lined cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for about 15-17 minutes. They will be light brown. Allow the cookies to cool 5 minutes before rolling them into powdered sugar.
