– Unsalted butter – Semisweet chocolate chips – Cocoa powder – Granulated sugar – Espresso powder – Brown sugar – Egg – Baking powder – Vanilla extract – All-purpose flour – Salt
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 375ºF and line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
Combine the dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour with the salt and baking powder.
Mix the wet ingredients
Add the granulated sugar and the brown sugar to the bowl of melted chocolate and stir to combine. Beat in the eggs and the vanilla until well combined.
Make the cookie dough
Slowly beat the dry ingredients into melted chocolate and combine until all of the ingredients are moistened. Roll the chocolate sugar cookie dough into 1-inch balls and then roll it into granulated sugar.
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes and then remove them from the oven. Bake one cookie sheet at a time.
