Preheat the oven and line a 9-inch square pan with a two-inch overhang or use a cooking spray to grease the bottom and sides of the pan.
Bake the brownies according to the box directions in a 9x9 pan. You want the brownies to be fudgy and dry and crumbly.
Allow the brownies to completely cool in the pan before lifting them out of the pan.
Make Oreo crumbs by adding about 13 Oreo cookies in a food processor and blending them to make Oreo dirt.
To make the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream on the stovetop until it is just beginning to boil and remove it from the heat.
Add the chocolate chips to the heavy cream and let it sit for a few minutes.
Whisk the ganache mixture until it is smooth and allow it to cool slightly before pouring it evenly over the top of the brownie.
Sprinkle the Oreo crumbs on top of the frosting and gently press down into the ganache so the Oreo crumbs will stick.
Next, use green cookie icing to draw small green lines to resemble garden rows before placing your candy pumpkins on top of the brownies.
Notes
Store brownies in the refrigerator since ganache is used in this recipe. You can use chocolate frosting in its place and will not need to refrigerator.Place enough pumpkins on top of the brownies so that every brownie square will have a pumpkin.
