This Chai Tea Latte is made with black tea bags with the flavors of cinnamon, ginger, and allspice. Topping this flavorful latte is frothed milk, whipped cream, and a dusting of cinnamon.
In a small saucepan, combine the water and the spices and bring until just boiling.
Remove the water from the heat and add the tea bags.
Steep the tea bags for 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and strain the tea with a fine mesh strainer.
Divide the tea between two glasses - Equally divide the tea between two glasses and set aside.
Bring the milk, brown sugar, and honey until just beginning to boil, and then remove from heat.
Using a whisk or fork, beat the milk mixture until frothy. An electric frother saves time and is great for frothing milk!
Pour the frothy milk mixture equally between two glasses filled with the tea.
Serve with whipped cream and a dusting of ground cinnamon. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
