Jalapeno Popper Dip

INGREDIENTS

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 375°

Brown the sasuage

In a skillet, brown and crumble the sausage, draining any excess fat.

And the other ingredients

Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cream cheese and the sour cream. Allow the cream cheese to melt and stir in the garlic powder. Stir in the diced jalapenos or the canned jalapenos if using.

Add the cheese

Stir in the Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses and combine well.

Transfer to dish

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or keep the dip mixture in the cast-iron skillet if using.

Add the topping and bake

Combine the melted butter and the Panko. Spread evenly on top of the dip. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on to of the crumbs. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
