– Asparagus – Olive oil – Garlic – Salt – Black pepper – Lemon – Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 425°. Wash and trim the asparagus spears.

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the olive oil, black pepper, salt, minced garlic, and freshly squeezed lemon.

Add the aromatics in

On an aluminum foil lined baking sheet, lay the asparagus spears in a single layer.

Season to taste

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Top with Parmesan cheese

Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes depending on the thickness of asparagus spears.
