Sweet Potato Pound Cake

Sweet Potato Pound Cake is a delightful twist on the traditional pound cake recipe, infusing the flavors of sweet potatoes and vanilla into a moist and tender cake.

This pound cake recipe is glazed with a sweet orange glaze, adding more flavor to this already delicious cake.


– unsalted butter – granulated sugar – eggs – vanilla extract – all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch bundt cake pan with either butter and dust it with flour.


 In a large mixing bowl, cream your softened butter and granulated sugar until it is light and fluffy.


Gradually add in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.


In another bowl, combine your dry ingredients. Carefully combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture.


Alternate the mashed sweet potatoes in between the dry and wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
