Iced Oatmeal Cookies

These Iced Oatmeal Cookies are soft and chewy and made using an old-fashioned recipe.

– Unsalted Butter – Granulated sugar – Brown sugar, packed – Vanilla extract – Eggs

INGREDIENTS

Preheat the oven to 350°. Beat the softened butter until smooth and add the sugars then beat until smooth.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda and mix to combine.

Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until incorporated.

Slowly, add the quick oats to the cookie dough until all ingredients are incorporated.

Scoop the cookie dough - Use a #40 cookie scoop and scoop cookie dough onto the cookie sheets.
